Dreama Faire has a lovely way with words that immediately captured my attention. Heroine Amanda is a character with whom this reviewer could totally relate, and at once I found myself cheering her on to finally accomplish her dreams. This is the kind of book that makes me happy I read it, not something I can say every time. Readers, dont miss out on Maiden Voyage! If you give this one a pass, youll be missing a wonderfully satisfying reading experience. Its going straight to my re-read shelf.

Passionate and seductive, Maiden Voyage was a pleasure to read. The pages passed by quickly and before I realized, it was over. I do not remember being bored once. Not only that, but I did not make grammatical corrections in my head while reading. The editing was perfect.

The plot was simple yet engrossing. Amanda and Nicholas's relationship was electric with its undertones of dominance and submission. A woman who always made the decisions for her mother and her students needed a man that knew what he wanted. Nick was that man. His appetite for sex and adventure made this novel the inferno that I so enjoyed.

Dreama Faire is a great novelist. I'm waiting impatiently to see what else she has up her sleeve.

Ms. Faire does a wonderful job with these characters. I love the way Nick and Amanda came together, almost on instinct. Their passion is hot, unrestricted and will surely have you trying all sorts of new things.

Amanda Barker thinks of herself as boring, with no life outside her teaching. So, finding herself free for the first time in her adult life, she decides to break out of her regular routine and take a trip. She wants something to fuel her fantasies about pirates, romance, and adventure.

Nicholas is the mysterious crewman who captures her attention almost before they leave sight of the shore. He seems to be the pirate of her fantasies. But what part can a fantasy man ever hope to play in the future of a boring American schoolteacher?

The hero and heroine both go on a journey of self-discovery. The heroine finds her sexuality, and the hero rediscovers his self-worth. Fate places them together in exactly the right place and time to help make this happen. Amanda thought she only wanted a lover like the pirate in her fantasies, and Nick only wants a real woman to fill his arms for a time. Each finds much more than they bargained for along the way.

The scenes in this erotic travelogue are lush and compelling and, at turns, frightening and disturbing. The author’s wonderful story-telling ability and the emotions of the two main characters help to alleviate a somewhat clichéd premise of the prim and proper schoolteacher and the hot foreign lover.

This is no ordinary cruise! Cautious Amanda and passionate Nick come together to heat up the waters in this delight tale of sexual awakening. Dreama writes like a dream!
